Dolphins Washing Up Dead on the Gulf of Mexico

CNN reports that scientists are investigating why some dolphins are washing up on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. Some of the dead dolphins have been found to have oil from the Deepwater Horizon rig, while others have been found with oil in them that didn't match the one from that rig.

Isn't strange that some dolphins have died with oil in them that wasn't from the failed rig? I know that oil sips out naturally from the bottom of the Gulf, but I just don't know how much, and the effects it would have on dolphins.

I also wonder if some of those dolphins that haven't been found to contain oil ate some other animal that did. It's a food chain, you know.

Regardless, this is just sad because I like dolphins, and who doesn't like dolphins.
