Seattle CEO Who Set Firm's Minimum Wage to $70G Deals With Backlash of Wanting to Help Others

A Facebook friend shared an article from Fox News, and had this to say about it:
"Here's that awesome across the board pay rate hike working out wonderfully."

Dan Price, the CEO who gave every employee in his company raises, is now going through trying times because of unforeseen circumstances that came after the announcement. The story Fox News cites was originally posted on the New York TimesA Company Copes With Backlash Against the Raise That Roared.

It's disheartening to see someone who had the best intentions go through this. He gave up so much with the hopes to help so many of his hard-working employees. If I remember correctly, he even gave raises to those executives that quit on him. Surely, he also didn't foresee some of his customers canceling out of their contracts, and weeks later being sued by his own brother. This is a very unfortunate story all around. If anything it shows how low people are willing to go because of their own selfishness and greed.

I'm rooting for Price to pull through the adversity, and show people that you can do good things for others, get beaten down for it, yet still rise and live to tell the world about it. He's a true American and a patriot.
